Summer Bishil (born June 15 15, 1985) is an American actress best famous for her character Margo as Margo in The Magicians, a Syfy drama series based on a fantasy that ran from 2015 until present. Her role in the Alan Ball film Towelhead featured her in the role of Jasira Maoun who is a Lebanese American teenager who is forced to confront a variety of personal concerns in relation to the U.S. invaders of Iraq. The following year she was selected as one of the Ten actors in Variety's list of To See. She played another powerful character Taslima Jahangir in 2009's film crime drama Crossing Over for which she was nominated for an Independent Spirit Award in the Best Female Lead category. The other roles in her film include the films Moozlum The Last Airbender Pop Star, Under the Silver Lake in addition to a variety of guest appearances on television.
